Government Accountability Institute Alleged Investigations

Below is a summary of the 21 investigations listed on the Government Accountability Institute website.  Whatever its claims, GAI seems to exist to provide research for Peter Schweizer’s books and opposition research for election campaigns. It should NOT be a tax exempt non profit organization.

From Russia With Money: Hillary Clinton, the Russian Reset and Cronyism

This is the “featured investigation” on g-a-i.org and consists of 56 pages. It was published in August of 2016 during Clinton’s presidential campaign, violating GAI’s tax exempt requirement not to publish anything directly or indirectly opposing a candidate.


Analysis of Secretary Clinton’s Emails.

This consists of assorted charts and how many times a keyword shows up in the emails. It was published in June of 2016 during Clinton’s campaign so it’s another violation of their tax exempt requirement not to publish anything directly or indirectly opposing a candidate.

Bush Bucks: How Public Service and Corporations Helped Make Jeb Rich,

This link doesn’t work but Bush Bucks is another book written by Schweizer. It was published in October of 2015 during Jeb Bush’s campaign. Once again it’s a case of GAI violating it’s 501c3 tax exempt status by campaigning against a candidate it doesn’t like.
