Dear LexisNexis, About That Vinnie…
On November 4th, Vinnie and Patrick Spina lost another lawsuit involving misappropriation of funds amongst other charges. This lawsuit was filed by Patrick Spina’s former law partner, Greg Sodini, who was screwed over by the Spinas (you can read that lawsuit courtesy Bullyville here).
A very interesting statement in the Sodini lawsuit was that Mr Sodini verified that Vinnie Spina was sharing law offices with her husband, Patrick, after she was disbarred by the Supreme Court of New Jersey for ripping off her clients. Per the terms of her disbarment, Vinnie is not supposed to “occupy, share or use office space” with a practicing attorney.
With Vinnie and Patrick deliberately ignoring the rules of her disbarment it was time to send another email to LexisNexis.
LexisNexis is a service for legal professionals that provides, among other things, personal information about individuals. A lawyer who uses it, or allows his wife to use it, to get information on individuals for a personal vendetta would lose access to LexisNexis and be subject to legal action.
A recent court case in New Jersey confirmed some allegations, so please consider this email an addendum to my email of October 29th. If you could pass this on to your investigation team, it would be greatly appreciated.
In Sodina & Spina v. Patrick Spina, et al (link here) Attorney Greg Sodini confirmed that Patrick Spina was sharing his Totowa, New Jersey law office with his wife, Vincenza Leonelli-Spina in violation of her 2008 disbarment. Mrs Spina was disbarred for knowingly misappropriating client funds and is currently being sued by the trustees of the New Jersey Lawyer’s Fund to recover money they paid out to the clients she bilked.
Mrs. Spina owns and/or administers several websites, fauxrealityentertainment.com, trolldox.com, and tr0llz.com, where she, along with her webmaster, Brandon Charles King, post personal information of people they don’t like. It is suspected that Mrs Spina may be using her husband’s Lexis Nexis account to get the personal information she posts online. So here are additional names that may have been accessed via Patrick Spina’s Lexis Nexis account for no reason other than to intimidate and harass.
