Rauhauser Poses As Anonymous; April, 2011

After serving some prison time for his little bombing spree in Indiana, Brett Kimberlin, aka the Speedway Bomber, set up a couple of nonprofit organizations to get revenge on the system that incarcerated him.

One of Kimberlin’s targets was the Chamber of Commerce. This got him on the radar of HB Gary which was exposed when HB Gary was hacked by Anonymous which then got him on the radar of Neal Rauhauser who was looking for somebody infamous to suck up to and something new to screw up.

Kimberlin and Rauhauser should have been a dynamic duo but it turned out that a sociopath who has a problem with compulsive lying teaming up with a Narcissistic sociopath with Lyme disease was more entertaining than effective. The two of them became the Kings of Konspiracy.

They attempted lawsuits against multiple individuals, offered outrageous rewards, with money they didn’t have, for information on the corruption of certain organizations, and of course there was the election scam of 2012 where Kimberlin and Rauhauser created a fake Anonymous group called The Protectors

But that wasn’t the first time they used Anonymous to get attention. In 2011, Neal posed as an Anon using the name Septcelles and attempted to “leak” information about the Chamber of Commerce. Unfortunately his info dump was all publicly available data.

“I had nothing to do with this and immediately raised suspicions about it.”  —Barrett Brown

Despite the promise of secrets and leaks, early research has thus far shown that this information is publicly available through a simple Google search. It’s very possible that “@septscelles” is just an attention seeking troll. —Anonymous via anonnews.org

This is the press release sent out by Rauhauser as @septcelles

This document release contains content from the American Legislative Exchange Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Mackinac Center. The Chamber of Commerce came to our attention via the HBGary email dump. Their connections to ALEC and the Mackinac Center are not entirely clear, but the information we provide should help clarify things.

Both files are encrypted using the http://truecrypt.com system. We don’t feel a great need to protect this content since we’re distributing it, but we do feel a need to help you improve your tradecraft.

The larger file, ALEC-Chamber-Mackinac.tc, is the content itself. The password for this is “Barrett Brown”.

The smaller file, Press-Release-2.tc, contains clarifications that may or may not be needed, depending on how wise those who download this data prove to be. If the need becomes apparent we will provide the password to Barrett Brown, with the expectation that he will release it via http://anonnews.org and other channels.

We are Anonymous. ` We are Legion.

We do not forgive.

We do not forget.
