#UnwantedIvanka Is Still Hilarious

Back in July, the French government posted a video clip of Ivanka at the G20 summit in Japan trying to butt into a conversation between world leaders. The video went viral.

FYI: The intent of holding the G20 every year is to promote global economic cooperation. The 20 countries that attend are responsible for almost all global trade.

The grownups who were trying to have a discussion were British prime minister Theresa May, French president Emmanuel Macron, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, and International Monetary Fund director Christine Lagarde. And then along comes Ivanka, daughter of the King Of Tariffs.

Ivanka was working the room, trying to schmooze with the global elite. It didn’t work out too well. Ivanka is that person who not only invites herself to a conversation, but inserts herself into the conversation with an off topic comment.

Seeing the video prompted Erin Ryan, host of the podcast, Hysteria, to ask for memes with Ivanka intruding into other situations,

This gave birth to the #UnwantedIvanka hashtag.

Erin had a request list of the memes she wanted to see, but Twitter went crazy creating memes which put #UnwantedIvanka among the top trending hashtags in the US for several days.

Of course, IronTroll had to join in on the fun. Below are some of our #unwantedIvanka creations, followed by some of our favorites from Twitter.

Below are some of my favorites, but I’m sure I didn’t see everything that was posted on the hashtag.
