SWATter to be Sentenced This Month

Former UgNazi, JoshTheGod, who’s real name is Mir Islam, will be sentenced on June 22nd for a variety of crimes, including SWATs and criminal conspiracy.  This stems from a long, ongoing investigation into SWATs that occured in 2012.  Brian Krebs of krebsonsecurity.com and RS McCain of theothermccain.com were among those SWATted. They both received letters last year from the Department Of Justice letting them know the FBI had someone giving them information on the identity of the SWATter.  So finally, Mir Islam has been revealed as the SWATter. The following was on Neal Rauhauser’s Scribd account and then deleted. It was written in 2012 and sent to the LA County Prosecutor’s office. Neal has a tendency to contact law enforcement to try and cover his ass after he’s caused trouble.Note in the second paragraph below that Neal claims Patrick Frey, aka Patterico, harassed and intimidated management at Daily Kos which led to his being banned. Patrick Frey aka Patterico is a prosecutor for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office and, as the declaration below states, he works in the Hard Core Gang division. Mr Frey is also one of the bloggers that Brett Kimberlin and Neal Rauhauser have long considered to be an enemy and he was one of the people SWATted during Weinergate. Frey’s SWATting occurred on on July 1, 2011. On July 4th, 2011, Rauhauser published 2 Daily Kos diaries on Frey: Weinergate: Patterico’s Penalization and Disingenuous Chart, Dishonest D.A. This is one of the Twitter accounts operated by (then) 16 year old Canadian SWATter, Curtis Gervais. He was arrested May 12th, 2014 and charged with 60 counts of SWATting and bomb threats in the United States and Canada. Gervais is Neal’s choice as the SWATter of Stacy McCain and Brian Krebs. Both Krebs and McCain received similar notification letters in June from the Department of Justice regarding an ongoing Federal Investigation into SWATting. A Federal investigation into SWATtings is presently being conducted by the Department of Justice. This was first brought to public attention by conservative blogger Stacy McCain who received a letter from the Department of Justice in July of this year. Brian Krebs, who blogs about online security, also received a letter from the DOJ. Both of these men were the victims of a SWAT. Krebs states his was in march of 2013, Stacy hasn’t given a specific time frame for when his occurred. They both received letters within 24 hours of each other.
