Cryptostorm, BadBitCoinOrg, AllSquareCat and Neal at CryptoCoin Expo 2014

I can’t imagine why Neal Rauhauser is writing about Cryptocurrency again.  Despite his bad reputation, no credentials, no expertise or experience in the Cryptocurrency field, Neal got a job writing for CryptoCoinsNews.com. At the same time he was also working for BadBitCoin.org (notorious Paycoin shill) and Cryptostorm. Neal wrote articles on the virtues of Paycoin and Cryptostorm VPN. Conflict of Interest? Yup. Definitely. Neal was eventually fired from CryptoCoinsNews after he incited retaliation against the Coinfire Blog for their breaking story on an impending SEC investigation into GAWminers and Paycoin. That was in early 2015.  Back in December of 2014, … Continue reading Cryptostorm, BadBitCoinOrg, AllSquareCat and Neal at CryptoCoin Expo 2014

More Court Time For Spink

Today Doug Spink had his formal arraignment where he was to be charged with 20 assorted felonies and misdemeanors that add up to 182 years jail time. I haven’t heard what went on in court for Doug, whether any charges were added or modified or how Spink pleaded but I did see that he has two more items on his calendar docket: a status conference and a judicial conference.  This would indicate that Doug will be going to trial. And most likely he’ll be kept in jail until the trial begins. Continue reading More Court Time For Spink

Doug Spink claims he’s been the target of government harassment because of his work with encryption and VPN networks like Cryptocloud and Cryptostorm. Doug claims a lot of things and some of them contradict each other.Spink’s battles with the courts over the last decade are not persecution but due to his violating the conditions of his supervised release. As it was, his supervised release wasn’t all that well supervised so he got away with a lot for a couple years. During his 5 year supervised release, Doug traveled out of state to be a guest speaker at the Last HOPE conference without permission … Continue reading The Parole Violation By Spink That Nobody Noticed

Trusting a former government informant who can’t keep himself out of jail is probably not a good idea.Doug has claimed that he was a political prison. The transcript makes it clear that Spink violated his supervised release from his drug smuggling confiction and was sent back to prison to finish his original (reduced) sentence.
