UPDATED: Why @Nero aka Milo Was Suspended From Twitter

Milo Yiannopoulos aka Nero the Troll

There’s a lot of rumor and speculation over Breitbart’s token gay, Milo Yiannopoulos, being suspended from Twitter for harassing actress/comedian Leslie Jones.

Milo’s first amendment was not impinged upon (and he’s not a US citizen anyway). His suspension wasn’t an attempt by “Liberal Twitter” to silence a conservative. It was Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, getting involved and putting a stop to Milo posting forged tweets and inciting his followers to attack. Jones was racially harassed for days before Milo’s suspension.

UPDATE: Forged tweets look similar to real tweets but there are obvious differences once you take a closer look.

The forged tweet above was cropped but underneath the date on forged tweets you’ll see a Delete button. The Delete button only shows up when looking at your own tweets. You’ll never see a Delete button on somebody else’s tweets.

Below you’ll see some of the forged tweets Milo posted.
