In July, actress Leslie Jones was gang attacked by AltRight trolls incited by Breitbart writer, Milo Yiannopoulos. Milo posted several screen captures of racist tweets that looked like they were from Jones but were actually fake tweets (one of them is in the thread below) .
Most of the attention was put on what was said to Miss Jones. While it’s best to not feed the trolls, Jones had hundreds of people blowing up her timeline with racist and degradng tweets. If you read what Leslie was tweeting at the time you see some sensible advice on handling racists and AltRight nuts.
In August, Leslie Jones’ website was hacked. Department of Homeland Security is investigating.
