This Is What Harassment Looks Like, Romanos Record of Retaliation - 1

I think most people know about Denise Romano’s run in with Texas Department of Public Safety after her tweets were reported as a possible threat to a public official. The media made it a great story and Romano became E-Famous with lots of new fans.

But the truth without media hype is that the woman who reported the Romano’s tweets did so in good faith. Texas DPS responded as it was required to do, particularly since Romano had been sending “satirical” tweets to Governor Perry for weeks. Had they been phone calls, emails or letters I don’t think anyone would have questioned that she was either making threats or was a crackpot.

Another truth you didn’t hear is that Romano found out which Twitter account reported her tweet and then doxed the woman by name, mocked her and got her followers to do the same.

Romano misused her influence and incited her followers to harass on her behalf.

Once again Romano’s double standards show themselves.
